I have recently signed up to have the Mustang 35th Anniversary Limited Edition Owners Association listed as a national club on the Ford Motor Company's Mustang Club Center website. I think that it is important that we get listed as a national club on as many sites as possible and there is really no better site than one sponsored by Ford Motor Company. Currently there is only five national clubs listed on their site:
Unfortunately they have some pretty strict guidelines to be included in their list of clubs. We meet all of their criteria, except I have not yet provided them with a member list. That is what this poll is about for this latest update. Whether we should join the listing of clubs and whether your name and address can be submitted to Ford. They say that the information... I have recently been playing Ford Racing on Playstation, a rather decent game, but no where near as good as games like Gran Turismo. I bought the game because it was inexpensive and it was a Ford game after all. While there were some elements missing from the game like customization and money winnings, the fact that I was racing Ford vehicles (most of them Mustangs) made it much more fun. While I'm not sure how accurate the racing specifications are for the Ford GT and other exotics, you can sure notice the difference between it and a '68 Mustang. While I was playing it, I was thinking how much easier the game would be if there was a 1999 Mustang available in the game. I no exactly how it is going to handle and it would be fun to take it to the limits without having to worry if I wrecked. Now we can all have that opportunity.
2K2 Games has recently released Ford Mustang for Playstation and Xbox and the game includes 40 different Mustangs for you to drive, including a 35th Anniversary Limited Edition (sorry it is a coupe for those of you with convertibles)! Besides the Limited Edition the game includes classics from the '65 to the current GT-R Concept. It has classics like the Boss 302, Boss 351, Boss 429, Mach 1, Cobra R, FR500, and pretty much everything in between. The even include some Mustang II's! Of course not every Mustang could be included and there are some surprise omissions like the Bullitt, 20th Anniversary Mustang, and Shelbys. But I think you'll want to race your Limited Edition on all 22 tracks in 7 cities! While the game does not live up to the greatness of Gran Turismo, it is much cheaper and is completely Mustang! If you like Mustangs it is a definite game for you to have, especially if you have a 35th Anniversary Limited Edition. How many times would you like to have your own vehicle in a video game?
